These are the Features and Specifications of the EMC-60V500A.

Programmable over the 24V to 60V Range.
Programmable over the 200A to 500A Range.

BUYER OPTIONS:
Purchase the controller alone (OEM) or with Contactor Kit and Pedal Accelerator shown at right (recommended).

EMC-60V500A FEATURES

Extended fault detection and protection.
LED flashing code indicates fault sources.
Monitoring battery voltage.
Stop driving if battery voltage is too high or too low.
Built-in current loop and over current protection.
Controller’s temperature measurement and protection
Cutting back current at low temperature and high temperature to protect battery and controller. The current will ramp down quickly if controller temperature is higher than 90degs, and shut down at 100degs. Low temperature current ramping down usually starts at 0degs.
Two RS232 ports. Both can be used for configuration.
Configurable and programmable with RS-232.
Software upgradeable. Windows GUI provided.
Provide 5V sensor supply.
Three switch inputs: Default to throttle switch, brake switch and reverse switch.
Closing to ground is to activate.
3 analog inputs, 0-5V: Default to throttle input, brake input and motor temperature input.
Reverse alarm output. Recirculation diodes provided.
Main contactor driver. Cut off the power if any fault is detected.
Current meter to display both drive and regen current. Save shunt.

Optional joystick throttle. Single 0-5V signal for both forwarding and reversing.
Thermal overload detection and protection to safeguard the motor from over temperature, with recommended Silicon temperature sensors KTY83-122.
Using battery-powered.
Optional CAN bus.
Optional supply voltage 8V-30V.

Technical Specifications:

This is the NEW, INFINEON Brushless Motor Controller for eBike Motors. It has ON/OFF switch and is wired directly to Battery Pack with special Harness. Works with all chain drive and hub motors in the 36V-48V range optimized at 500W:- Cyclone, Nine Continent, Bafang, Crystalyte, BMC, PUMA, eZee, Wilderness Energy and other Motors.

Once the rocker switch in in the On position, the controller can be activated by (1) twist or thumb handlebar accelerator " Start Immediate" or (2) by pedaling and using P.A.S. to operate the motor at legal speed.

Standard Voltages Available : 36V and 48V
Custom Voltages Available: 60V and 72V

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

Low Voltage Protection insures that battery packs connected to the controller do not over-discharge.

On/Off switch insures battery packs do not self discharge to controller electronics when bike is not in use.

Both Battery Indicator and The Cycle Analyst Meter can be plugged in directly to the controller.

Has ability for Regenerative Braking with minor board modification.
